Copy details from existing certificates
Filling out certificate details can be a time-consuming task. To streamline this process, Clik Cert certification software offers a feature for creating and utilising certificate templates. These templates save time and maintain a consistent standard of work for your engineers. They can be used for repeat work or planned maintenance jobs.
You can create a template from any of your existing certificates and categorise them to make them easy to organise. Once set up, you can then create new certificates from these templates to save you and your team from entering the same details over and over again.

If you want to create a certificate from a template of a different certificate type, you can use template mapping to make the transition smooth. This tool can be particularly useful when carrying out maintenance work after a previous installation.
Templates can be used both in the office and onsite using the Clik Cert (Field) apps. You can send templates to your engineers using the certificate apps so they can complete the paperwork for the job quicker and more efficiently.
Fill out bespoke certificates
You can customise and simplify certification management with Clik certification software. Clik Cert enables you to design personalised certifications, manage client details and maintain seamless compliance throughout every stage.
Clik Cert comes with a range of gas, fire and catering certificates readily available for you to fill in and complete. We’ll also be looking at adding more industry-standard certificates in the future. If there is a certificate missing from the software you want to get added, our template team can build it for you.
We can also alter the existing certificates if you need fields added or changed. This way, you get the right reports you need for every job. You’ll have unlimited access to your bespoke certificates across the office software and Clik Cert (Field) apps. This service is available upon request (charges apply).
Link job sheets to certificates
With the shared database solution, you can link Clik Service and/or NICEIC Cert Software with Clik Cert to bring your work together. Use one database for all three programs to avoid any duplication and to keep your contacts organised. Once connected, you can also link job sheet numbers to your certificates, making your work better connected.

Clik’s shared database takes your certification to the next level. You can connect with Clik Service to link job sheets with certificates and collate customer details into one shared CRM (customer relationship management). Then view and print electrical, gas, catering, fire or bespoke certificates from Clik Service with ease.
Create multiple certificates
One of Clik Cert’s time-saving tools is the ability to create multiple certificates in one go.
You’ll then be able to select which type of certificate, along with how many you want to create. If you have a pre-made template for that cert type, you can also apply it to pre-fill some of the key information. This option is a great way to quickly create multiple certs for planned maintenance work or a contract schedule.

Customise your file names
The settings in Clik Cert have some useful tools that can help you to be more organised, without taking up too much time. One of those is the default file name tool. This allows you to set up custom file names for your Zips and PDFs when you export them from Clik Cert.
Put together your own default file name for your saved work to save you time editing them in the future. Use certificate tags to add specific information such as the type of certificate, the company name and much more. Once you’ve added all the tags you want, you can also add text in the file name format to customise it further to suit your business.
Action recently edited certificates
The recent activity menu on the certificate list page has some handy tools that you can use to quickly make changes to certificates. This is where you can view any certificates your user has recently edited or created.
There are a few different actions you can carry out using the recent activity menu. As an example, you can print a recently accessed certificate in just a few clicks with this handy tool. This way, you don’t need to spend too much time searching for the cert you recently closed to export it or print it for your clients.

Using this feature can cut more long-winded steps out of your day-to-day work. It means you can quickly save, send or print a certificate without having to find it in your extensive list of certificates.
Adjust list views
Enhancing user customisation, Clik Cert certification software provides a convenient feature to help adjust your lists to view the information that is important to you.
Similar to other Clik products, the software incorporates a column chooser option within lists, allowing users to modify column headers according to their preferences. This tool tailors the display of information, enabling users to add or remove specific columns to better align with their business needs. Whether prioritising the client’s name, address, or associated job numbers, users have the flexibility to arrange and organise these details effortlessly through the column chooser.
You’ll be able to move these around and adjust the width of each column until you are happy with the layout. This will then save automatically for your user when closing the software, so you don’t need to readjust it every time. This makes it easy for you to find what you need easier, without having to open and close each certificate.
Filter and export certificate lists
There are a few ways you can export your data in Clik’s certification software to create reports on your work. One way will be to filter and export the main certificate list. You can select a specific timeframe and export the information you need to an Excel spreadsheet.
With different filters, you can gather lists of specific certificates with a certain criterion. You might want all forms created during a specified year period or date range. The software also provides the option to filter by column headers. This way, you could choose to just display all complete certificates or all that are a specific type.
Once filtered accordingly, you can export the list as an Excel file. You will then have a copy of the data with your specified conditions so you can generate tables/charts and report on the results.
