2022 was another busy year for us, with plenty of big updates, new features and product launches along the way.
Big Clik Service Updates
Clik Service has seen some big updates this year and we’re excited to see how they can help users speed up their work even more.
First, the brand-new print template editor was released to make it easier to customise the layouts of your printed documents. Now, you can add photos to your layouts, customise the formatting, add action lists and more. You need to be running Clik Service v4.2.341 or higher to start using the print template editor.
We introduced new integrations into Clik Service to further streamline your work. Building on our integrations with Microsoft 365, we added compatibility with Microsoft SharePoint to manage your documents in the cloud.
Finally, the latest Clik Service update in 2022 had a big overhaul of the notifications module. It included a new integration with Microsoft Teams, as well as new conditions and customisable options for you to create alerts specific to your business.
18th Edition Amendment 2
This year saw Amendment 2 of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations come into effect.
It was the first big update to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations that were introduced by the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and BSI (British Standards Institution) back in 2018. To help you stay up to date with these national standards, we published new certificates in the NICEIC Cert Software.

NICEIC Cert Software Updates
Alongside the new Amendment 2 certificates, we also worked on several new features and improvements for the NICEIC Cert Software and Clik Cert Electrical field solutions.
A big update released towards the tail end of 2022 was validation. This tool checks your work for missing fields and helps you make your certificates look more professional.
This year also saw the release of new tools to help import your data, organise customer addresses, complete certificates in the field and much more. Check out our support site to catch up on every NICEIC Cert Software update we released this year.
New Clik Cert Certificate Packs
Clik Cert is our all-in-one certification software that centralises all your risk assessments, safety checks, installation certificates and more. The certificate packs make it easy for you to customise the software to how you want. So, you can access what you need, when you need it.
You can tailor your software to your industry. Certificates are currently split into gas and plumbing, fire and security and catering packs. It offers a straightforward way to create, fill out and manage all your paperwork. This way, you can confidently take on every job, from landlord gas safety checks, heat pump services, fire alarm installations and much more.
Team Clik
We’ve had lots happening at Clik Towers in 2022. Here is a quick summary of what went on for our team in the last 12 months.
Sam, Liam W, Ryan, Ollie and Bryan joined our tech team this year. Over in our sales team, we introduced James and Bailey. Elsewhere in the company, Yuliia and Dan joined our admin team to provide support over the phone and Jay recently joined us in the marketing team to head up our social media accounts.
As well as new additions to the team, this year also saw some internal promotions and progression across our departments. Kristia transitioned to a new role as our Test Analyst, Rachel M was promoted to Technical Support Supervisor, Jess took on the marketing team leader role as our Marketing Coordinator and Thomas D moved over to support our training team.
We returned to the River Wye for another canoeing adventure for our annual summer social, dabbled in some competitive bowling at Bristol’s The Lanes and had some tasty grub in between for our social gatherings.
Ben and Rachel took to the skies for the Grand Appeal in the charity skydive. George, Ollie, Jack and Ben took part in our first-ever hot wings challenge to see who could handle the heat.
We’re looking forward to another great year in 2022.
